Hearing Aid Selection and Fitting
At the fitting appointment, the patient receives the hearing aids they selected. They are programmed to the patient’s hearing loss. The hearing professional may make adjustments to make sure the programs and fit are ideal for the patient.
Speech mapping is a process that uses microphones and live speech to allow the patient to immediately see and understand the benefits of hearing aids and adjustments.
Ear impressions are taken in order to best produce custom ear molds based on the exact contour of your ears. This process ensures that your hearing aids or custom ear protection fits perfectly.
Hearing Aid Repairs
Minor hearing aid repair and cleaning can be done in the office in a short amount of time. Other repairs may require the hearing aid to be sent in for repair or replacement. The audiologist can best determine the proper course of action.
