Sound Field Testing
Sound field testing refers to the method of audiology testing that takes place in a sound-isolated room via speakers. It is performed without the use of headphones or in-ear sound devices. It’s commonly used for young children who are unwilling to wear headphones during aided testing. Adults can also use this testing if they prefer it over alternative methods.
